Hahaha..haven’t  heard that statement in a long time, right? It’s been two years since we bade goodbye to Sdar and still, I reach out to you and impose a question. Do we really need jambu in school?

Okay, don’t get me wrong. I’m not writing this on personal basis, but rather as a favour from a certain someone. It must be some sort of tradition, or blame it on the environment as every single boys’ school can define the term jambu very well, and as it is for girls, school, which they use terms such as starter(tkc), title(ssp) , toeng(stf)  or anything else instead. But, does the phenomenon of jamabuism (if such word exists) prove significant to Sdar? Some might say it acts as a booster, being pounded by stress everyday, the sight of his jambu alleviate this stress (I’m quoting this from another person). Big brother, little brother, it’s normal, right? Another interesting hypothesis is that they say this jambuism is actually a tutorial when meeting with the female beings. You can practice your moves with your jambu, before you implement it on girls. As gory it may sound, it is actually true though! Some did that. Haha…

And some say jambuism is total bullshit, they are just lust machines in disguise (this I also quote, so don’t sue me). Is it true? Hiding in that “little brother” façade, lies a hideous, dark underground act that all students from any all boys school knows, and I will definitely not go into this any further. Fuuhhh…Well, if we look back to the definition, jambu is someone younger that acts as the other person’s pet brother. But how do you explain this phenomenon occurring in the same batch? Besties?

Yet, despite all this, this culture still thrives till this very day. Does it prove beneficial, or negative ( if your jambu suddenly tak layan , and you get all messed up, and when someone ask you why, you’re embarrassed to tell because then kantoi plak ade jambu) or its just for the fun of it?
